Description
We're small indie studio from Ukraine and we're making top notch games for PC and mobile.
History
Early history
Our story began in 2006, when three friends decided to make their first game. Hidden Object genre was chosen, popular at the time. So, in 2008, our super hit Haunted Hotel, released on the Big Fish Games portal, made a huge success. I would like to say that after that the golden era of casual PC games has begun. At least for us.
Since the game proved to be very good, we did three more in the Haunted Hotel series - Haunted Hotel 2: Believe the Lies, Haunted Hotel 3: Lonely Dream and Haunted Hotel: Charles Dexter Ward.
Each new game was not similar to the previous one, kind of step forward and that marked us up in the general mass. All games were sold well, hit the Top 10 charts of the Big Fish Games portal, which means our efforts were not in vain.
Until 2014 we’ve released few more games in HOPA genre (Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure) such as Sonya, Island: The Lost Medallion and Inbetween Land. The last one was published with G5 Entertainment on mobile.
Self Publishing
Publishers were much less interested in Premium (paid version) or Freemium (try before buy) products. It was a turning point for us. Since then, we decided to publish our games by ourselves. The first one was The Last Dream. It was very personal, something innovative, different from our previous games. Armed with this projects we hit Steam, Google Play Store, Apple App Store and later Windows Store.
In 2016 we wanted some refreshment and made our very first pure mobile game Tap the Blocks using popular game engine Unity (all of our previous games were made using in-house engine). Moving to Unity gave us a bunch of benefits such as rapid development, multi-platform, a lot of SDK’s to embed analytics, advertisement. The game did very well. We got Global Feature from Apple App Store. Google Play Store featured us in Indie Corner and we got third place in Unity and Microsoft contest.
2019 is the year we released last (but not the least we hope) HOPA-genre game called Stormhill Mystery: Family Shadows. By the main event for our studio in 2019 should be our first step in classic point-n-click genre, like Monkey Island, Full Throttle and Broken Sword. That games gave us inspiration years back and now we’re ready to release our own adventure.
